Why invest in our training courses?

Legionella training is an essential part of all effective risk management programmes.

According to the Health & Safety Executive, inadequate management, lack of training, and poor communication are the main reasons for outbreaks of Legionnaires’ disease.

For these reasons, you’ll need to appoint responsible people (and/or statutory duty holders) to manage your Legionella Compliance requirements. That’s where we come in.
Our L8 training courses have been developed to meet the latest standards required by the UK’s safety regulators, the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and Care Quality Commission(CQC). Our courses are fully compliant with ACOP L8, HSG274 and HTM 04-01.

We offer a full range of flexible training packages. Currently, due to COVID-19, the majority of our training courses are being held online, however, we are able to offer face to face classsroom training, provided the classroom is well ventalited and has enough sppace to facilitate social distancing. Our Legionella L8 Training courses have been designed for business owners and directors, health and safety specialists, facilities managers, technicians, duty holders and the responsible person.

Our Legionella trainers are not simply classroom academics, they are also hands-on industry experts with many years’ practical experience. Our trainers advise you on the control and management of Legionella in commercial, industrial and institutional environments to ensure you are fully compliant with the law.
